Asian beauty Carrie Ng has had a very prolific career as an actor working mostly in her native Hong Kong. Starting in the mid-1980’s, Carrie made her debut in the movie Once Upon a Rainbow (1982), but she really made a name for herself when she played Madame Yeung in the popular TV series The New Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre. In the 1990’s she received accolades for her acting including winning the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress and winning the Best Supporting Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Over the years she has worked with some of the biggest names in Hong Kong cinema including Yun-Fat Chow and Jackie Chan. In recent years, while she continues to work regularly as an actor, she has also moved behind the camera and directed a couple of movies.
